SIS Global Seating’s B850 retractable upholstered bench seating has been installed extensively in Schools, Colleges, Universities, Theatres and other Performing Arts Centres. The design of the seating system allows maximum seating capacity and an economic solution to seating projects.
A continuous upholstered bench seating: 300mm deep and fully upholstered in selected materials, with a continuous integral fold-down upholstered backrest: 225mm deep and fully upholstered in selected materials.
All decks and aisle steps are covered with a durable and hard-wearing carpet. All exposed edges of the carpet are finished with aluminium trim and nosing with a coloured insert to the leading edge of each aisle step.
Automatic row alignment system to each seating unit.
Unit can be portable and also be truncated to view over barriers or handrails.
Units can be joined together to form larger banks of unlimited seating length. These types of banks must be electronically operated.
For an upholstered bench a minimum of 450mm is allowed for each person.
Other flooring options are available including vinyl and phenolic ply.
An optional integral power operation of the seating system is available complete with a detachable control pendant for ease of operation. Manually operated units are also available for platforms and seating up to 8 rows high and have a maximum tier width of 6,100mm.
Demountable rails are available for front, rear and side edges. Demountable side curtains are also available.
Self-storing rails, for side edges only, allow for ease of operation and storage.
Aisle lighting can be incorporated into our platforms.
Retractable units can either be Wall/Floor fixed or set into a recessed area.
Flat bar and rectangular hollow section tube, formed and welded to standard design of seat support bracket and fold down backrest mechanism.
Frame epoxy powder coated to colour but generally black.
Upholstery
Continuous upholstered seat is 300mm front to back and has an upholstered fascia board.
Interior 18mm MDF board supporting 25mm thick FR recon 6lb foam topped with a 12mm thick CMHR polyether foam for additional comfort.
Seat can be upholstered in a variety of different materials.
Continuous upholstered integrated fold down back rest, 225mm deep and covered in selected material.
Interior of back to be 25mm thick plywood supporting 25mm thick chip foam with a 13mm capping foam over the front, top and bottom face for additional comfort.
Back rest fully upholstered.
