We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Education Sales Manager with a passion for education and sales, ideally within the furniture manufacturing industry. This role entails close collaboration with contractors, architects, and educational institutions to promote and sell our furniture solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine interest in contributing to the creation of inspiring learning spaces.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation: Actively identify and pursue sales opportunities within the education sector, including schools, colleges, and universities.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, and educational institutions to understand their requirements and deliver tailored furniture solutions.
  3. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our furniture product offerings and effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
  4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales collateral to support the sales process.
  5. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the education sector.
  6. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly and professionally addressing any issues or concerns.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.

 

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry or education sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

 

Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time, home-based position with quarterly visits to our Head Office in Bude.
  • Travel will be required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
