SIS Global Seating’s adaptable, moveable tip-up seat for auditorium use, the FD 200 Matrix, offers a range of standard features along with various installation, style, and design options. Robustly constructed, this reliable seating solution includes fully upholstered seats and backs with a durable sprung tip-up seat base operation. The FD 200 is also available with a lower, cut-short backrest (CS model) for a streamlined look.
Options include exposed and polished plywood panels for enhanced sturdiness and appearance, as well as upholstered or wooden armrests. The chair offers different backrest depths and a wide selection of seat fabrics to suit specific requirements.
With numerous installation options and a variety of seat spacing configurations, the FD 200 can be customized for diverse layouts. Easily mobile, the chairs can be removed to create wheelchair spaces. Additional features include seat numbers, row letters, and installation formats such as fixed, fold-down, and removable, making the FD 200 a versatile and practical seating solution.

Automatic row alignment system to each seating unit.
Other flooring options are available including vinyl and phenolic ply.
Demountable rails are available for front, rear and side edges. Demountable side curtains are also available.
Self-storing rails, for side edges only, allow for ease of operation and storage.
Aisle lighting can be incorporated into our platforms.
Retractable units can either be Wall/Floor fixed or set into a recessed area.
Unit can be portable and also be truncated to view over barriers or handrails.
Units can be joined together to form larger banks of unlimited seating length. These types of banks must be electronically operated.

Framework
FD 200’s framework consists of 35 x 18 mm tube, complete with all necessary support brackets and sprung mechanism.
Elongated ski style legs allow for connection to rows in front and behind and prevents ‘snaking’.
Single row ski legs are available providing maximum flexibility for seating location.
Seat frame allows for seating to be linked to other seats in a row and to avoid the duplication of ski legs
Finished powder coated – black with other BS or RAL colours available.
Spring operated seat tipping mechanism.
Upholstery
The upholstered seat measures 400mm front to back. Interior 12mm plywood supporting 60mm thick FR recon 6lb foam topped with 12mm thick CMHR polyether foam. Seat covered with selected fabric.
The chair’s seat back can be either 300 or 470mm, deep top to bottom. Interior 12mm pre-formed plywood supporting 30mm thick CMHR polyether foam, complete with lumbar support. Back covered with selected fabric.
All upholstery complies with BS EN 5852, Source Ignition source 0,1 & 5 (Crib 5) in respect of flame retardancy.
