SIS Global Seating’s cinema and auditorium chair can be tailored to its own specific design requirements. The overall design of the cinema seating chair allows aisle and walkway dimensions to comply with BS 9999. In existing buildings where the row spacing may be particularly narrow, the Model F8000 chair can be optimized to provide the required walkway dimensions. The seat centres can be varied to suit the seating layout as required.
The Model F8000 Cinema seat may be provided with either upholstered arms or with black moulded cupholder arms or an upholstered armrest with a durable steel cupholder.
A wide range of seat fabrics are available, including tweeds, vinyl, velour and leather. All fabrics and seat foams meet the appropriate Fire Regulations.
The chair can be either riser fixed or tread fixed. Portable/removable chairs can also be provided to allow for wheelchair access or other purposes.
The standard fully upholstered seat base is also available with the option of an exposed polished plywood panel on the underside of the seat base for an enhanced appearance and added durability.
The standard fully upholstered seat back, with lumbar support, is also available with the option of an exposed polished on the outside of the seatback for an enhanced appearance and added durability.
Framework is 50 x 25 x 2.0mm ERW complete with 100 x 100 x 5.0mm thick floor plate and 25 x 10mm thick armrest support plate.
Chair support metalwork complete with pivot mechanism housing for tipping action complete with nylon bushes for friction free tipping action designed to give a minimum of 100,000 cycles of operation.
All metalwork to have all weld spatter removed prior to being thoroughly de-greased and de-scaled.
Chair and seat tilt mechanism has been tested to BS EN 12727: 2000 Level 4 for strength & durability.
Chairs can be provided with either upholstered arms or with black moulded cupholder arms or an upholstered armrest with a durable steel cupholder.
Frame powder coated from the RAL or British Standard colour range.
Upholstery
Seat base is produced from 15mm Birch inner seat ply 440mm deep, sanded all around and T nutted with M8 fixings.
Profiled Reflex R400H foam cushion shaped for comfort. All wear points lined with 6mm V38 foam to protect fabric.
Counter-weight insert for allow smooth auto tipping.
Seat back rest is produced from 700mm deep formed 9mm plywood with extra 6mm Plywood insert for added strength between fixing holes.
All edges sanded and protected with foam strip to prevent wear.
Full depth reflex foam cushion at a nominal 100mm thick.
Chairs can be provided with either upholstered arms or with black moulded cupholder arms or an upholstered armrest with a durable steel cupholder.
The ends of the row can be finished off with either upholstered or ply panels.
All upholstery complies with BS 5852, 1990, ignition source 0, 1 & 5 (Crib 5) in respect of flame retardancy.
