SIS Global Seating auditorium and theatre chairs can be tailored to its own specific design requirements. The overall design of the F6000 auditorium seat allows aisle and walkway dimensions to comply with BS 9999. In existing buildings where the row spacing may be particularly narrow, the Model F6000 chair can be optimized to provide the required walkway dimensions. The seat centres can be varied to suit the seating layout as required. The chair can be either riser fixed or tread fixed. Portable/removable chairs can also be provided to allow for wheelchair access or other purposes.
This protective plywood outer seat back panel can be extended above the upholstery by 20mm to protect the top edge of the upholstered back. This adds further protection to the upholstery. These protective panels are highly recommended in areas such as balconies, where people may place their feet on top of the seatbacks of the chairs in front of them.
Seat Base: The standard, fully upholstered seat base is also available with the option of an exposed polished plywood panel to the underside of the seat base for an enhanced appearance and added durability.
Seat Back: The standard, fully upholstered seat back, with lumbar support, is also available with the option of an exposed polished to the outside of the seatback for an enhanced appearance and added durability.
The Model F6000 seat can be produced with or without armrests. Armrests can be either upholstered in the selected material or produced from solid beech timber with a polished or painted finish.
A wide range of seat cover fabrics is available, including tweeds, vinyl, velour and leather. All fabrics and seat foams meet the appropriate fire regulations.
Framework is 50 x 25 x 2.0mm ERW complete with 100 x 100 x 5.0mm thick floor plate and 25 x 10mm thick armrest support plate. Chair support metalwork complete with pivot mechanism housing for tipping action complete with nylon bushes for friction free tipping action designed to give a minimum of 100,000 cycles of operation. All metalwork to have all weld spatter removed prior to being thoroughly de-greased and de-scaled before being powder coated from the RAL or British Standard colour range.
Chair and seat tilt mechanism has been tested to BS EN 12727: 2000 Level 4 for strength & durability.
Upholstery
Seat Base is 470mm deep. Interior 18mm thick plywood base with all corners rounded and sharp edges removed. Seat foam to be 100mm thick overall, consisting of CM50 thick foam, CMHR type, profiled to shape. Underside of the seat to be finished with 4mm thick plywood base covered with selected fabric.
Seat base complete with counterweight for automatic tipping action and integral seat pivot brackets. Seat base covered with selected fabric.
Seat back rest is 500mm deep. Interior 8mm thick pre-formed plywood with all corners and sharp edges removed. Back foam to be 38mm thick, 40S CMHR foam. Back foam complete with lumbar support foam to bottom section of back unit. Back unit to be complete with Tee nuts for assembly to the supporting metalwork. Outside of the back to be finished with 8mm thick plywood covered with selected fabric. Back unit covered with selected fabric.
Armrests are 270mm long x 70mm wide. Interior 18mm thick plywood base with all corners rounded and sharp edges removed. Armrest foam to be 6lb recon foam 25mm thick. Remainder of armrest finished with selected covering material.
The ends of the row can be finished off with either upholstered or ply panels
All upholstery complies with BS 5852, 1990, ignition source 0, 1 & 5 (Crib 5) in respect of flame retardancy.
